“Do you want to talk?”
“No.” Dammit, Mom’s persistent.
“Are you sure?”
“Leave me alone.” Why didn’t she do that the first time I asked?
“Dear, I know you—”
“Honey, please let him be. He has every right to want some privacy.”
Thank you, Dad.
“Come, let’s go outside, hon.”
“But I—” I saw Dad give Mom a stern look. “Alright.” As she trotted to the door, Mom said, “We’ll be right outside, sweetie.”
It was a little later than normal, but Tess came by after school as usual, and she brought Starry with her. I could hear them talking with my parents outside my door. When they finally came in, Mom and Dad stayed in the hall. Starry had a couple of paint stains in his coat. He looked kinda funny… but it still didn’t make me feel any better.
Sharp Eye Chapter 1Sharp Eye: Chapter 1Sharp Eye Chapter 1 by Knight-of-Luna
Light filled my eyes as I lazily rolled over on the dirty mattress I was laying on. For a moment things seemed peaceful as I buried my head in my pillow but suddenly realization struck me. My eyes went wide as I pulled my revolver from its foreleg holster and scanned the room. My EFS came up and I checked the compass for any red flares. Finding none I breathed a little sigh of relief around the mouth bite of my revolver. I remoistened the weapon and looked around. I was still in the same little office I now called home. It was small and a little cramped but suited my needs fine. I was on the fifth floor of what had once been a private office before the war. I had found this little hideout completely by accident. I had been flying and had ducked in here to get out of the rain one night and after finding the only way in was a small hole I decided to set up shop. There are few other pegasi in the Capital Wasteland so it would be extremely difficult f

In other news, special thanks to 100NETTE, WikiTiki7, kot6, and Starcatwarrior who let me know how much they enjoyed it! I hope that you continue to do so and let me know what you think about it, as the more you let me know about what you enjoy the more I can make the story fit that!
The pair of like beings spent quite some time going over the basics of magic use in the Equestrian world before actually beginning, Loki quietly deferring to Luna’s knowledge on the subject. The actual time spent practicing it was brief, for while Loki strained himself to harness his power he felt his wounded wing jolt in pain and the former prince stopped channeling his power.

Manehattan leaves its hoofprint on everypony who ventures into it.
Chapter One: Lost in Manehattan
“Manehattan is big enough that you cannot trot from one end to another in a single day. Not even if you avoid getting lost or accosted in the tangled web of twisting streets and dead end alleys.
It’s too big, actually. It’s vast, immense. Seas of ponies, forests of buildings, roads wide as rivers. It smells like urine and sweat and coal smoke and tar. If I had been in my right mind, I never would’ve gone there.
In the fullness of time, I became lost. I took a turn too early or too late, then tried to compensate by cutting through two tall buildings. It wound like a gulley carved like a river that had left to find a cleaner bed. Garbage drifted up the walls and filled the cracks between buildings and the alcove doorways. After I had taken several turns I caught the rancid smell of something dead.”
Rarity stopped writing. She sat in her sig
